Refunds and cancellation

Memberships

The Collective and The Artist are monthly. You can cancel any time from your account. There is no cancellation fee and no long term contract. After you cancel, access continues through the end of the period you already paid. We do not prorate unused days, missed live classes, or unused library time, except where Arizona or other applicable law requires a refund.

Private lesson credits (The Artist)

Artist members receive three private lessons each billing period, online or in person. Unused credits expire when that period ends. They do not roll over and they are not paid out as cash if you cancel. If you reschedule or cancel a booked private through the link in your Cal confirmation, the credit comes back for the rest of that same period.

In person lessons paid per lesson

If you are not using an Artist credit, Club Dance and Studio Z lessons are billed at the posted price. Card payers are invoiced after the lesson. Cash or check is due at the studio. To change or cancel a booking, use the link in the Cal confirmation email before the lesson. We do not refund a completed lesson because you were unhappy with the outcome of one session.

If we cancel

If we cancel a live group class, the recording (when there is one) is the makeup. If we cancel a private that you already booked, the credit is returned or the per lesson charge is not invoiced. If a charge already went through in error, email avery@thepointeofyou.com and we will fix it.

Chargebacks

If you see a charge you do not recognize, email avery@thepointeofyou.com first so we can look it up. Filing a dispute with your bank without talking to us may pause the account while it is open.

How to cancel

• Membership: Account, then Cancel, or the Stripe billing portal from Account, Billing.
• A private lesson: the reschedule or cancel link in your Cal booking email.
